India and the UAE signed several Memorandums of Understanding during PM Narendra Modi's one day visit to Abu Dhabi. One MoU on settling bilateral transactions between the two countries in local currencies (Rupee and Dirham) was also inked. The MoUs came as PM Modi held talks with the UAE President. PM Modi assured India's full support for UAE's COP28 presidency as he held productive talks with the UN climate conference's President-designate Sultan Al Jaber.
