Lok Sabha: Slogans, war of words as Opposition protests over farm laws

Disruption hit the Lower House of the Parliament, a day after the Union Budget was presented. Opposition MPs shouted slogans and protested in the Lok Sabha to show solidarity with farmers demonstrating against 3 recent farm laws. The disruption occurred during discussion on the motion of thanks on the President's address. BJP MP Locket Chatterjee's statement was interrupted by the Opposition's protest. After multiple appeals by the Speaker Om Birla and Parliamentary Affairs minister Pralhad Joshi went unheeded, the House was adjourned till 4 pm on February 3. Watch the full video for more.
