PM Narendra Modi expressed gratitude to everyone who wished him on his birthday. Taking to Twitter, PM Modi said he was 'humbled and overwhelmed beyond words’. PM also thanked BJP workers who had pushed for record vaccination on the occasion. In a series of tweets, PM said every wish gives him strength to work harder for nation. BJP's plan to boost vaccination led to a milestone of administering 2-crore jabs in a day. As per Co-WIN, India administered over 2.11 crore doses of Covid vaccine before 6pm. PM acknowledged hard work of healthcare, frontline workers who made the drive 'a success’. PM also expressed gratitude to the media for bringing back to life many of his old memories. Birthday wishes poured in as the Prime Minister turned 71 on September 17. Born in 1950, PM Modi is the first chief minister to be born after independence. He is currently in the third year of his second consecutive term as the PM of the country.
