'Powerless' Pakistan suspects 'external hand' behind blackout; U.S. offers help | Watch

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has ordered an inquiry into the massive power outage across the country. This is as Islamabad suspects possible "external interference" in the power crisis. Khurram Dastgir, Pakistan's Energy Minister, alleges that a probe is needed to verify if there was an external interference, like an internet attack. Khurram Dastgir also claims that power has been restored across Pakistan. Interestingly, Pakistani media claims that widespread outages still persist despite Shehbaz Sharif's government’s claim of "fully restoring" power. While the Pakistani government is in denial, the U.S has offered to "assist" Islamabad in the midst of the crisis. Watch this report for more.
