Indian Army soldier, M Prabhu, succumbed to injuries days after being brutally thrashed by a mob led by a DMK councillor A Chinnasamy in Tamil Nadu's Krishnagiri district. Lance Naik M Prabhu and his brother Prabhakaran were attacked following a dispute over washing clothes near a water tank on February 8. According to the police, both sides had a heated exchange that later turned violent.
