Taliban thanks India for helping Afghans; urges to reopen Kabul Embassy

Taliban showers praise on India after the first meeting of two nations since its takeover in August 2021. The Taliban-run Afghanistan government thanked India for continuing its humanitarian and medical assistance. The Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi appealed India to resume its diplomatic and consular services. Muttaqi also requested India to resume its projects in the country.
