Turkey earthquake: Building collapses during live broadcast | Death toll goes up

Turkey and Syria were hit by one of the most powerful earthquakes in the region in nearly a century. The devastating earthquake has left at least 2300 dead, levelled hundreds of buildings while several people still remain trapped under the rubble. The 7.8-magnitude pre-dawn earthquake was followed by two more, wiping out major cities in southeast Turkey and northern Syria. Leaders from across the world have offered assistance and announced aid for Turkey and Syria.
