A day after the death of another Indian student in the US, Mohammed Abdul Arfath, was confirmed, Indian officials held a meeting at a university to reassure students of their "support". Arfath's death was the eleventh such case since the beginning of the year. He went missing in March, and his parents later received a phone call claiming he had been abducted.
