People of a village in Karnataka had a surprise visitor on Thursday. An alligator was spotted roaming around, giving the local people a scare. The reptile was later caught by forest officials & released in its natural habitat. The crocodile had come out of Kali river & entered Kogilabana village under Dandeli. In a video, the crocodile is seen creeping along the bylanes of the village. Frightened people alerted the forest officials who then rushed to the spot. After removing the alligator safely, officials released it back into the river. Officials said the creature didn't harm anyone while it was amid the human settlement. According to the officials, Kali river has a sizable number of crocodiles. Keeping that in mind, a crocodile park has also been set up in Dandeli.
