Putin accuses west of trying to carve up Russian federation; ‘coined a special term: ‘post-Russia…’

President Vladimir Putin marked Russia’s National Unity Day with a powerful call for solidarity, warning against internal divisions and foreign attempts to destabilize the nation. In his Kremlin address, Putin stressed the importance of social and national unity as the foundation of statehood and sovereignty, highlighting the need for inclusive national policy, protecting cultural and linguistic diversity, and strengthening measures to counter external provocations and “Russophobia.” Putin also called for an upgraded system to accurately assess regional and federal approaches to inter-ethnic relations, proposing to elevate the interdepartmental working group on national policy to a government commission as a safeguard for Russia’s unity and stability.
