India beat Syria to lift Nehru Cup

India has retained the Nehru Cup with a penalty shootout victory over Syria at Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi. Indian goalkeeper Subroto Pal saved three goals and paved the way for his country to win their second successive Nehru Cup. Pal was declared "Man of the match" for his superb performance.
