Kagiso Rabada found guilty of pushing Steve Smith, gets 2-Test suspension
South Africa won the second test match against Australia by 6 wickets. In what is being termed as one of the finest display of cricket, Kagiso Rabada gave one his finest performance in the match. He took a total of 11 wickets in the match but won't be available for the rest of the matches of the series against Australia. He was found guilty of violating ICC's Level 2 code of conduct. He even accepted that he did use offensive language while sending off David Warner. All this led to an accumulation of 8 demerit points in a period of 24 months which led to an automatic suspension of Rabada. Amidst the all the tensions in the series, it was AB DeVilliers who outperformed everyone. In the last 10 years, he along with Virat Kohli has most number of centuries. Till he got out in the second innings of the second test match, he was the only South African batsman to not be dismissed in the series against Australia. But with the demeanour of the Aussies on the field, was Rabada's ban a tad bit too harsh by the International Cricket Council (ICC)?
