U.S. Super Hornet jet blown off warship deck; Weeks after crash near China Lake

An F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter recently fell into the waters of the Mediterranean. Super Hornet jet 'blew overboard' & off the aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman . F/A-18 lost to rough seas; the United States Navy cited 'unexpected heavy weather'. The incident happened while the warship was conducting an at-sea replenishment.
