Rajnath briefs MPs on China tensions, says we are prepared

On the second day of the 18-day Monsoon Session of the Parliament, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh apprised the MPs of the current status on the border standoff with China. Rajnath while stressing on the nation's resolve to work on a peaceful agreement with China, reiterated India's stance on how seriously it takes issues pertaining to its sovereignty. He emphasized that Indian troops were capable of serving at hostile altitudes and India was prepared for the worst while it was actively working towards a peaceful resolution.
