In a fresh dare to the United States, Russian warships arrived in Havana, Cuba, on July 27. According to Reuters, the Russian naval group consists of patrol ship Neustrahimiy, training vessel Smolniy, and support vessels. The Russian warships, all from the Baltic Fleet, are expected to stay docked in Cuba's port of Havana until July 30. This is the second arrival of Russian warships in Cuba in over a month. Meanwhile, the US Northern Command said “Russia's deployments in the Atlantic pose no direct threat or concern to the United States.”
