China warns against Trump's tariff wars, backs Iran stability & rejects meddling

China’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that China opposes tariff wars, warning that there are no winners and stressing that Beijing will firmly protect its legitimate rights and interests. Commenting on the unrest in Iran, Mao said China supports Iran’s efforts to maintain national stability and reaffirmed Beijing’s long-standing opposition to foreign interference and the use or threat of force in international relations. She urged all parties to contribute to peace and stability in the Middle East.
