Middle East Heading Towards War? Israel Strikes Iranian Targets In Syrian Capital Damascus

Syrian state news agency says Israeli air strikes hit the capital Damascus in a pre-dawn raid. The strikes hit several positions in Damascus, wounding a Syrian soldier. According to Sana, Syrian air defences downed a number of missiles fired by Israel. A UK-based thinktank said that the strikes targeted pro-Iranian arms depots near Damascus.
