Speaking at a press conference, former detainees said a US federal judge ruled that the Trump administration violated their right to due process by labeling them as terrorists and ordering their confinement. The group alleged psychological and physical abuse during detention, lasting mental health impacts, and difficulties reintegrating into society. They have called on both the US and El Salvador to comply fully with the court ruling, while thanking Venezuela’s government for facilitating their return home.
