South African children are choosing knitting over crime

A knitting club in the notorious Cape Flats is hoping to keep children off the streets away from gang warfare. Children aged between 6-16 years of age attend 2 hours of classes in a refurbished cargo container. Membership to the club is free and is funded by donors. This is an attempt to keep the children of the neighbourhood away from drugs & gang violence.
