Spooked By Iranian Proxies’ Drone Blitz, IDF Set To Use M61 Vulcan Cannons On Its Armoured Carriers

The Israeli Defence Forces are investigating potential retaliation strategies against the drone attacks carried out by militant groups led by Iran, such as Hezbollah. As to media reports citing the IDF, Israel is testing the M61 Vulcan gun as a defence against enemy drone assaults. The possible purchase coincides with a recent threefold increase in drone attacks on IDF military targets by Lebanon-based Hezbollah.
