Australia condemns Mumbai attacks

Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd said on Thursday that his government was deeply concerned about the Mumbai attacks. Acting Foreign Minister Simon Crean called the attacks as "cowardly". The Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said that there are two Australians injured in the series of shootings and blasts, but no reports of deaths. The latest death toll given by Indian police said at least 101 people have been killed, and about 287 people are injured.
