A wheelchair-bound student studying at Poteet High School in Texas had his dream come true on April 29 when he scored a run for his high school team.Christian Alfaro, who has been paralyzed since birth, has been managing the Mesquite Poteet Pirates for three years, local news site Mesquite News reported.He runs agility drills and pitching practice for the players. Head coach Jeff Johnson told Mesquite News he arranged with opposition team Terrell Tigers, at their home ground in Mesquite, Texas, for Alfaro to be on the field.They made several fielding errors until Alfaro made it to the last base to score a run. His team mates cheered as he crossed the final base.Since being posted online on April 30, video of the run has been viewed more than 1.3 million times.
