Watch | Japanese man builds clock that writes time, minute by minute

Kango Suzuki, a Japanese man, has built a clock that writes out the time every minute. The clock has no electrical parts and it keeps going thanks to four weights directly attached to the clock itself. Suzuki says the inspiration for the clock came from traditional Japanese wind-up dolls that are complex to build. The end product is made of 407 parts, all of which Suzuki designed and built himself. It took him ten months to build the clock, between April 2015 and February 2016. Now, he has been approached by many potential employers and he has rapidly collected a large number of business cards from people who have expressed interest in working with him.
