Trains via the South Station in Boston, Massachusetts were temporarily suspended on Wednesday afternoon after a stabbing incident. There was a massive police activity at the station.

The incident happened on the Red Line platform at South Station, reports stated. As of 6:20pm EDT, train services on the Red Line have resumed, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority
Visitors at the station shared photos showing crime scene tape around the escalators. Some visitors reported on Reddit that blood could be seen at the station following the incident.
So far, an update has not come from the Boston Police Department regarding what happened at South Station today has not come.
