Bobby Deol has been away from the big screen for three years now. The actor, who has given hits such as Gupt (1997) and Soldier (1998), is gearing up for his comeback. For the longest time, he was sporting a beard, which was part of his preparation for his upcoming film. However, when we met the actor, he was clean shaven. “The beard was for a film that my brother (Sunny Deol; actor) was planning to make. But the script didn’t work out. So, I shaved it off. I hope the film works out. I will grow the beard again (smiles).”
.“When you start working after a break, you do feel that you have lost your nerve.” says Bobby Deol (Shakti Yadav)
Bobby’s next is a remake of the hit Marathi movie Poshter Boyz (2014), and it will be directed by Shreyas Talpade. Bobby tells us that he hasn’t seen the original, as it would be best for actors to not get overwhelmed or inspired by the previous matter. However, Bobby is “nervous”, as he hasn’t faced the camera in a long time. “When you start working after a break, you do feel that you have lost your nerve. You feel like you are attending a class for the first time, and it is good to feel nervous. Otherwise, you won’t be able to give your best.”
