Joining the long list of remake of 90s songs is Sukhbir’s hit number, Sauda Khara Khara. Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor have shot a retreaded version of the song Sauda Khara Khara for their upcoming film, Good News. Reports suggest that it will be a peppy number placed inside a dance club.
A Mumbai Mirror report claimed Akshay, Kareena, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh have shot for the song. DJ Chetas, who has worked on the remake, told the tabloid, “It was a dream come true to work with Akshay sir, Karan (Johar, producer) sir and Kareena ma’am on a film. I can’t get into the details of the track, but I can promise that it will be one of the biggest hits of the year.” The song will be set inside a Delhi club and will mark a celebration in the lives of the lead characters.
The original 90s song featured Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea and was set around a wedding.
Kareena and Akshay play a couple trying to get pregnant in Good News that also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. Diljit and Kiara have been shooting for the film since November and Akshay and Kareena joined work late in January.
