Sidharth Anand, who directed Hrithik in Bang Bang, has bought the remake rights of Rambo, and is in talks with Hrithik for the lead role in the Sylvester Stallone film.

Just when every Bollywood star is dreaming of featuring in a mega budget Hollywood film, here’s someone who is willing to bring Hollywood to the Indian audiences. If reports are to be believed then Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan is all set to give his ‘desi’ fans a taste of Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo.

It’s being said that Sidharth Anand, who directed Hrithik in Bang Bang, has bought the remake rights of Rambo, and is in talks with Hrithik for the lead role in the film. Bang Bang was also a remake of Knight and Day.

Looks wise, Hrithik can match up to Stallone, but Rambo has a definite political connotation to it, and that will make things difficult for Roshan and Anand who are not known for taking a firm political stand.

However, the fans will be happy to see their favourite star in a challenging role.
