Kajol shares throwback pic, reminds Shah Rukh and Ajay Devgn how they looked good despite working ‘14 hours in heat’

Kajol tagged Ishq co-stars Ajay Devgn, Juhi Chawla and Aamir Khan as well as Shah Rukh Khan and reminded them how it was working in the 90s despite no luxury of vans and working for 14 hours in ‘heat rain or shine’.

Bollywood actor Kajol has shared a throwback picture from the sets of her 90s hit film, Ishq and said she managed to look great even while shooting in “heat rain or shine”. She also called upon “90s people” Shah Rukh Khan and her Ishq co-stars, Juhi Chawla, Aamir Khan and husband Ajay Devgn to agree with her.

Sharing the pic, Kajol tagged Shah Rukh, Juhi, Aamir and Ajay. “Throwback to Ishq..... Big phones, sitting on set all day coz we had no vans and the rooms were too far away to keep going to and we still worked 14 hours heat rain or shine ... and looked good . All nineties people agree ? What say @ajaydevgn @iamsrk @aamir_khan @iam_juhi.”

Ishq was a romantic comedy, directed by Indra Kumar in 1997. While Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla were a hit pair then, Ajay and Kajol also ruled the industry. Made at an estimated budget of Rs 11 crore, the movie proved to be a box office blockbuster after collecting ₹45.61 crores.

Kajol and actor husband Ajay Devgn celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in February this year and she also appeared on Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan. Ajay had even made fun of Kajol over her social media habits. He teased Kajol for putting a lot of effort in choosing the right pictures to upload on Instagram.

He said, “The problem is not clicking the picture. Problem is, three hours they are only correcting the picture so that they can post it. She’s never done this in her life, budhaape (old age) me aake I don’t know why.” To which she quickly replied, “Tumhara budhaapa hoga, mera toh nahi hai! (You must be old, I am not).”

On the work front, Kajol was recently seen in Helicopter Eela alongwith Riddhi Sen, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Neha Dhupia . She will soon be workin with husband Ajay Devgn on the period film Tanaaji where she is reportedly playing Rani Laxmi Bai.
