Karan Johar announces new film with 2 States director, Good Friday

Karan Johar has announced a new film under his banner, Dharma Productions. Titled Good Friday, the film will be directed by Abhishek Varman.

Filmmaker Karan Johar has announced a new film under his banner, Dharma Productions. The film will be titled Good Friday and be co-produced by Fox Star Hindi.

Abhishek Varman, who directed 2 States - the Bollywood adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s book by the same name, will direct Good Friday. Karan Johar tweeted the announcement Friday afternoon. “DHARMA collaborates with FOX STAR STUDIOS and SAJID NADIADWALA directed by ABHISHEK VARMAN ...APRIL 19th,2019 #GoodFriday,” he wrote.

He also put to rest all rumours about the star cast of the film: “The FINAL cast of this collaboration will be put out soon along with the title All rumours of story and other details circulating are FALSE!”
