Actor Rani Mukerji and husband Aditya Chopra were spotted together on Sunday when they visited Karan Johar’s residence as his mother rang in her 75th birthday at midnight.

Actor Rani Mukerji is rarely spotted at parties and events and her husband and YRF owner Aditya Chopra is a rarer sight. The couple was recently spotted together after a long time as they visited Karan Johar’s mother Hiroo Johar to wish her on her birthday at midnight.

While Rani was dressed in a black sleeveless dress for the occasion and completed the look with cateye spectacles, Aditya was twinning with her in black.

Hiroo, wife of filmmaker Yash Johar, had celebrated her 75th birthday last year with an intimate bash hosted by Karan. Their industry friends and family members had joined them at the pink themed brunch organised at a five-star hotel in Mumbai. Besides Rani, Kareena Kapoor, Kajol, Sidharth Malhotra, Tanisha Mukerji and Shweta Bachchan Nanda had attended the party. Singer Sonu Nigam had sung some of Hiroo’s favourite songs, majorly from films produced or directed by Karan.

The septuagenarian dedicates her most of the time to her grandkids Roohi and Yash. Karan had welcomed the twins by surrogacy in February 2017. While his son is named after his father, his daughter Roohi’s name is an re-arrangement of Hiroo’s name.

Rani was last seen on screen in 2018 film Hichki. She was highly appreciated for playing the role of a school teacher with Tourette syndrome. Rani and Aditya are parents to three-year old daughter Adira. The two have shielded her from the paparazzi ever since she was born.
