Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput, who is pregnant with their second child, was recently asked if it’s a girl or a boy and she had the perfect answer. Mira was asked the question on the newly introduced question-and-answer Instagram stories.

A user asked, “This time boy or girl?” to which she replied, “Don’t know and doesn’t matter.” Shahid and Mira already have a daughter, Misha Kapoor.

Shahid and Mira got married in 2015. They announced the second pregnancy in April this year and put up a picture of their daughter Misha lying with a bunch of balloons drawn on the floor and ‘Big Sister’ written beside her. Talking about the announcement, Shahid had said, “I am very happy. We just felt like sharing it with everybody. Mira said she wanted to put it on Instagram, and I felt the photograph was really cute. So, it was a spontaneous decision and it just happened.”

Mira had also said last year that she will like to have a second baby soon. She had earlier said she would like to work but there was a caveat. “Yes, I would love to work, especially in a field that is creatively stimulating, but also allows me time with family. Perhaps something with food or lifestyle. I do not have a deadline as I am going to have another baby, and then decide,” she said at a women’s day event.

On the work front, Shahid has wrapped up shoot for his new film, Batti Gul Meter Chalu, where he stars opposite Shraddha Kapoor. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh of Toilet Ek Prem Katha fame, the film also features Yami Gautam.
