Shahid Kapoor reveals details about his new Rs 56 cr home, says it will have a garden for Misha

Actor Shahid Kapoor opens up about the new house he has bought with wife Mira Rajput and how it will be done up keeping daughter Misha in mind.

Shahid Kapoor’s new duplex apartment in Mumbai, marks a new chapter in the life of the actor, his wife Mira Rajput Kapoor and their daughter Misha, who turns two on August 26. The couple are expecting their second child together in September and felt it was time to move into a bigger home to better suit this new phase of life.

“I have bought a new home in Central Mumbai. It will be a year-and-a-half, perhaps even two, before we do the interiors and move in there. However, it’s an investment that I needed to make. I have a much smaller home in Juhu and with two children (the second one arriving in September), the requirement of the family has changed,” Shahid told DNA in an interview.

It’s no secret that our homes inevitably change when children enter the picture. Finding the sweet spot between sophisticated and family-friendly can be a real struggle, but Shahid and Mira’s new sea-facing nails it. The stylish duo, who got married in July 2015, purchased a super-swanky Rs 56 crore pad in Worli on July 12, 2018, where they will reside with their children; and lucky for us, Shahid’s not shy about sharing interior design details of their charming new home on the 42nd and 43rd floors of Three Sixty West.

“The new home that Mira and I have booked has a garden and other amenities like a gymnasium, etc. Today, our requirement is having a safe place for Misha where she can play with others. We want her to be with kids of her age because that’s how she will have a regular childhood.”

Basically, their house will be every bit as cool as Shahid’s adorable family is.
