Shubh Mangal Saavdhan teaser: Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar are non-hot, non-cool couple

Ayushmann Khuranna shared the first look of his upcoming film, Shubh Mangal Saavdhan Wednesday evening. Produced by Anand L Rai, the film also stars Bhumi Pednekar.

The hit couple of Dum Laga Ke Haisha is back with their new offering - Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. Months after sharing the first look, the makers have now revealed the teaser of the film starring Ayushmann Khuranna and Bhumi Pednekar.

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan will feature Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khuranna.

Ayushmann and Bhumi have earlier worked together in Sharat Katariya’s Dum Laga Ke Haisha.

The 41-second video starts with the theory of evolution and introduces non-hot, non-cool couple Mudit (Ayushmann) and Sugandha (Bhumi). The teaser uses animation to drive its point home. The makers promise to unveil the trailer of the film on Monday, August 1.

This will be the second time Bhumi and Ayushmann after working together in the National Award winning film Dum Laga Ke Haisha.

Shubh Mangal Savdhan is the remake of Tamil comedy Kalyana Samayal Saadham. RS Prasanna, who also directed the original, is behind the megaphone for the Hindi version. The original film starring Prasanna and Lekha Washington, Kalyana Samayal Saadham was about a big fat south Indian wedding with a quirky twist.
