Surveen Chawla to replace Chitrangda Singh in Kushan Nandy’s film?
After actor Chitrangada Singh walked out of the Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer, apparently Surveen Chawla is in talks with the makers for the lead role.
Earlier this month, actor Chitrangada Singh walked out of the Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer directed by Kushan Nandy saying that she was asked to reshoot an intimate scene with Nawazuddin several times despite being uncomfortable. The incident led to a controversy and versions of both parties were aired. Now, actor Surveen Chawla has been approached by the makers of the film for the lead role.

Surveen Chawla made her film debut with Hate Story 2 in 2014. With that, she acquired an image of being a bold actor. She told HT Café earlier, “After Hate Story 2, I was bombarded with ‘bold and sexy’ roles. It got tiring and that’s why I didn’t sign any Hindi movie post that. I don’t want to do films for the sake of doing. I would rather wait.” Surveen Chawla started her career with TV serials Kahin To Hoga, Kasautii Zindagi Kay and Kaajjal and then moved on to Punjabi films.
