NEW DELHI: Telecom regulatory authority of India (Trai) will seek details of the radio link timeout (RLT) technology, allegedly being used for masking call drops and resulting in higher bills for subscribers. According to a Trai report for Delhi, Aircel and Vodafone have been using RLT, which decides for how long a call should be sustained if signals drops below threshold, beyond average levels.
