Skoda Kylaq Classic Plus and Prestige Plus launched in India
These will be followed by a Sportline variant in Q2 2026. Kylaq's variant lineup now expands to 11 price points.
Czech automaker Skoda has launched two new variants of its sub-compact SUV, the Kylaq. Previously, the Kylaq had four variants, namely Classic, Signature, Signature Plus and Prestige. The company has introduced two new variants: Classic Plus and Prestige Plus. The Classic Plus variant is placed above the base Classic variant, while the Prestige Plus variant would become the top variant, sitting above the top Prestige variant.

Skoda Kylaq Classic Plus & Prestige Plus Variant
As per the company, the Kylaq Classic Plus will boast the option of both transmissions: a manual or an automatic. The Classic Plus variant will get an electric sunroof, auto-dimming internal rear-view mirror (IRVM), rain-sensing wipers, cruise control and multi-function steering wheel, among others, as standard. The Classic Plus variant has been priced at ₹8.25 lakh (ex-showroom) with manual transmission and ₹9.25 lakh (ex-showroom) with automatic transmission, whereas the Prestige Plus variant has been priced at ₹11.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the manual variant and ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the automatic variant.

Skoda Kylaq Sportline Variant
In addition to that, the Skoda Kylaq is set to get a Sportline variant by the end of the third quarter of 2026, which is expected to be sharper and sportier than the current stock Kylaq. The company previously stated that it had closed the year with 1.17 lakh units in 2025, witnessing a 36 per cent growth year-on-year. Notably, the total sales, including exports, stood at 1.59 lakh units.
Moreover, Skoda Auto reported 107 per cent growth, supported by demand for the Skoda Kylaq and the return of the Skoda Octavia RS.

Skoda Kylaq Engine Option
The Skoda Kylaq is powered by a 1.0L TSI three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 113 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift Unveiled
Furthermore, the company updated its compact SUV, the Kushaq. The Skoda Kushaq gets additional features, including a rear seat massager, which is a segment-first, a 10.24-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch digital infotainment system, 17-inch alloy wheels, illuminated rear Skoda lettering, electrically adjustable front seats and ventilated front seats, among others.
