Toyota unveils Innova HyCross in India. Check features and specifications

The SUV made its global debut in Indonesia on Monday.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has unveiled the new-generation Innova HyCross in India, just days after the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) made its global debut in Indonesia.

“The legend has elevated itself to the all new-Innova HyCross with HY SUV Styling, Hybrid Performance, Plush Comfort and Enhanced Safety. Embrace it, experience it and book it to take your lifestyle to a new Hy,” tweeted Toyota India on Friday.

“Introducing the All New #InnovaHyCross. Sporting a new HY of Exterior Styling, Plush Comfort, Enhanced Safety & Hybrid Performance. e-book now,” it said in another post.

According to HT's sister publication Live Hindustan, the SUV comes in two engine options: a 2.0-litre petrol unit and 2.0-litre strong hybrid unit. While the petrol unit generates 174 PS maximum power and 205 Nm peak torque, the strong hybrid unit produces 152 PS maximum power and 187 Nm peak torque.

Innova HyCross has features such as a 7-inch digital driver display, 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, JBL sound system, connected car technology, adjustable captain seats, dual 10-inch rear touchscreen system, ambient lighting, sunroof etc.

The company is yet to announce the price of the SUV, which is expected to be launched in January 2023. Also, bookings for the car have commenced.
