Haryana, Orissa post big victories

Haryana thrashed Madhya Pradesh by five goals to one in the IA&AD inter-zonal tournament here in Chandigarh. Both Triveni and Daljit scored a brace for Haryana, while Gurmeet shot one goal. Javed Ali was the lone scorer for MP.

Orissa also registered a comprehensive victory, beating Tamil Nadu 4-1. For Orissa, Abhaya Samantray scored a brace, while Virender Yadav and Vijay Swarankar scored a goal each; Nagendran was the lone goal-scorer for TN.

Bengal also had it easy, winning 4-2 against Andhra Pradesh. SK as well as GK Swaich scored two goals each for the victors, while Vijay Kumar and Sai Kiran were the scorers for AP.

In another match, Delhi drew 2-2 with Rajasthan. Vinod and Vinod Yadav were the scorers for Delhi, while Ugra Singh and Sandeep Mathur scored for Rajasthan.
