Panjab University announces admission schedule for two courses
Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, announced counselling-cum-admission schedule for admission to MBA programmes at the University Business School (UBS) and admission schedule for five-year integrated BSc and MSc degree in fashion and lifestyle technology at the University Institute of Fashion Technology and Vocational Development (UIFT&VD).

Counselling-cum-admission schedule for MBA programmes at UBS
The UBS has 64, 30 and 30 seats for MBA, MBA (IB) and MBA (HR), respectively. For general category, PU UBS will hold a counselling-cum-admission session for MBA, MBA (IB) and MBA (HR) on June 25.
On June 26, counselling for all reserved categories (except sports) - schedule caste, schedule tribes, backward classes, defence, riot/terrorist victim, freedom fighter, NRI/foreign national, wards of Kargil War, wards of Kashmiri displaced persons and one girl child out of the only two girl children - will be conducted.
A PU spokesperson said the candidates had been informed though their registered email address. In case, any candidate does not receive the intimation through his/her registered email address, he/she should contact the AR (UBS) through email:arubs@pu.ac.in.
5-yr degree in fashion and lifestyle technology
“Interested students can apply for the prestigious five-year integrated BSc and MSc degree in fashion and lifestyle technology at UIFT&VD before June 29. The programme laid out in a semester system focuses on self-sustaining education and training,” said a PU spokesperson.

The aptitude test for 46+6 (NRI) seats of BSc 1 (fashion and lifestyle technology) would be conducted on July 7 at 9.30 am.
The interview-cum-counseling will be conducted on July 8 at 9.30 am. Students having passed 10+2 from CBSE or any other recognised board with atleast 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks in case of SC/ST) are eligible to apply for BSc 1 at UIFT&VD.
The aptitude test for 46+6 (NRI) seats of MSc 1 (fashion and lifestyle technology) would be conducted on July 9 at 9.30am. The interview-cum-counseling would be conducted on July 10 at 9.30am. Students having passed BSc (fashion designing) examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate from PU or an examination from any other university recognised as equivalent thereto shall be eligible for entrance test for lateral entry into the course of MSc 1 at UIFT&VD.
