PUNE The Nuisance Prevention Squad ( NPS) of Pune Cantonment Board (PCB) on Saturday removed the ‘Go Back Modi ’ hoardings put up by the Congress city unit on Saturday.

The hoardings put up near Cantonment Court, Pulgate and East Street were removed while the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) sponsored hoardings in the area remained intact.
PCB chief executive officer Amit Kumar was not available for comment immediately.
Reacting to the development, senior Congress leader Mohan Joshi said, “We strongly condemn the act by the PCB,” he said.
Joshi further said that black flags will be waved at PM Modi during his visit to Pune on Saturday.
Deputy commissioner (License & Sky Sign) Vijay Landge of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) said, “The hoardings were put up without proper permission so they were removed. We have directions from the administration to remove them.”
