PUNE Pune district reported 61 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths due to the infection in the last 24 hours
PUNE Pune district reported 61 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths due to the infection in the last 24 hours. This took the progressive count to 1.45 million of which 1.43 million have recovered, 20,512 deaths and 1,048 are active cases.
As per the state health department, Pune rural reported 34 new Covid cases which took the progressive count to 425,290 and the death toll went up to 7,144 as one more death was reported. Pune city reported 16 new cases which took the progressive count to 679,661 and the death toll went up to 9,429 as two more deaths were reported. PCMC reported two new Covid cases and the progressive count went up to 347,100 and the toll stood at 3,589.
As per the Co-WIN dashboard, Pune district saw total registration of 17.47 million doses as of Tuesday. Of which 9.52 million are first doses, 7.69 million second and 249,757 precautionary doses. A total of 457 sites saw vaccination of which 369 were government centres and 88 private.
