Three arrested for looting car owner in Pune

According to police, the trio stopped Attar at knife point near Phugewadi Octroi post and took away his cash estimated to be Rs 4,350 from his possession.

Bhosari police arrested three persons for looting a four-wheeler owner near Phugewadi Octroi post on Friday midnight. The accused arrested have been identified as Amol Ramchandra Gaikwad, 32, a resident of Morya Park in Pimple Gurav; Yogesh Ulhas Gaikwad, 28, and Rohit Ashok Gaikwad, 22, a resident of Gaikwad chawl in Phugewadi.

The complaint against the trio was lodged by Firoz Ramzan Attar, 22, a resident of Sangharsha housing society located in Ambedkarnagar area of Nigdi.

According to police, the trio stopped Attar at knife point near Phugewadi Octroi post and took away his cash estimated to be Rs 4,350 from his possession.

The trio were picked up by a team of police patrol who were on operation all out duty under the guidance of zonal commissioner Ganesh Shinde.

Police inspector Narendra Jadhav of Bhosari police station said that the accused were picked up from Nashik Phata and arrested in the case.
