India vs England Highlights 2nd Test Day 4: India 181/6 at stumps, lead England by 154 runs in 2nd innings

England bowlers off to a terrific start in the second innings. After Robinson, Jimmy Anderson follows next with a maiden over. IND: 2/0 after 3 overs.

Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul are out to bat at Lord's on fourth day of the second Test. Rahul has the strike while Jimmy Anderson begins the English attack.

What a moment this is for the young Indian cricketer. All-rounder Deepti Sharma rings the bell at Lord's. The action on day four to begin shortly.

India head coach Ravi Shastri is adressing the players ahead of the fourth day's play. It's going to be a crucial for the Indian batters as the they will be playing under overcast condition and no doubt, the likes of James Anderson and Ollie Robinson will go berserk. 

So here's the good news. The covers are coming off and the Indian openers to eager to repeat their heroics of first innings, especially after what Joe Root did yesterday.

The drizzle is on in London but nothing serious. It's expected to be a passing one and unlikely to affect the start of play on Day 4.

Overcast conditions but not looking threatening. The groundstaff has kept the pitch covered with the hover cover but that's just a pre-day practice that is followed.  

With two days to go and Joe Root looking in improbable form, India would have to bat the entire today and perhaps an hour tomorrow morning as well if they are to draw a Test match, let alone win it. Even a lead of 300 might not appear safe with the kind of touch the England captain is in.

To make things simpler, let's look at the remainder of the contest this day: Two innings left in this Test match to be played across two days. It's all about which team scores the most runs. Batting in second innings is obviously slightly tougher, but the pitch remains the same.

It's August 15, India's 75th Independence Day, and the Indian batsmen would be keen to make it a memorable one for their fans. This innings could make or break India's chances in the Lord's Test. Another good show can get things rolling for them, but batting won't be easy third innings of a Test match.
