Deepti falls on 40. It's an almost unbelievable miss for Deepti. Nashra drags her length back and spins it into the left-hander. Deepti goes for a sweep but misses the line completely, as the ball goes behind her and hits the stump.

What an innings from the left-hander! She had looked a little fidgety at first and was clearly under pressure at being unable to find the gaps on the off-side, but grew in confidence after charging down the track for a couple of high-scoring shots against Nida Dar. Mandhana gets her fifty with a push towards long-off.

After scoring 33 runs in the first ten overs, India have been much better in the next ten, accumulating 54 runs. Smriti Mandhana remains only three runs away from a well-deserved half-century.

Another milestone for the Indian batter as she reaches 2500 runs in ODIs. She is currently the fourth-highest run-getter for India in the format!

Smriti, who, at the start of the innings, wasn't ready to take a single on a misfield, has now run three after fielder at front of square fumbles. Pressure shifting to Pakistan, confidence oozing for India at the moment.

A bit fuller from Fatima and Deepti pounces on the opportunity, lofting it away towards the deep mid-wicket region again. Most of the boundaries have come towards that area and there's rightfully a fielder in place now.

It was a good start for Pakistan as they dismissed Shafali Verma early in the innings, but Smriti Mandhana (37*) and Deepti Sharma (22*) saw off the dangerous phase of the innings and continue to rebuild the Indian innings.

What a shot. Mandhana gets on the backfoot and times the length ball onto her body towards deep midwicket for a strong four. She moves on to 37.

Mandhana finally breaches the off-side. A nicely-timed cover drive from the left-hander results in a couple against Fatima.

And Mandhana survives. Deepti Sharma pushes one to backward point for a quick single, there's a direct hit from Diana Beg but Mandhana puts her bat down just in time.

India reach the 50-run mark in the 13th over of the innings. 

Two wides in her second over as she looks to bowl away from the left-handed Deepti, knowing her strengths on the leg side.

Mandhana and Deepti added 25 runs in the last four overs, releasing some of the pressure after the early wicket of Shafali.

Another boundary from Mandhana off Nida Dar. Poor line from the spinner as she bowls down the leg; all the batter needed to do was time it away from fielder's reach, and Mandhana did it with perfection.

More confident shot-making from both batters as the strike-rotation is better. Deepti uses the pace of Fatima to edge the fifth delivery for single towards third-man boundary. 5 off the over.

First four for the left-hander! Deepti gets down on a knee and smacks the fuller delivery from Fatima away towards deep mid-wicket.

Right-arm pacer Fatima Sana Khan replaces Diana Beg. 

That's more like it! Mandhana charges down the track again and goes straight over the bowler's head! Finds the distance this time.
