Quinton De Kock
The South Africa international is currently enjoying a brilliant run of form in international cricket and along with Rohit Sharma, De Kock forms one of the most formidable opening partnerships in IPL.
Suryakumar Yadav
Yadav was easily the player of the tournament for Mumbai Indians last season and after a somewhat successful show in the domestic cricket circuit, he will look to continue his brilliant run of form.
Yuvraj Singh
The veteran is back with another new team and he will be raring to prove his critics wrong. Yuvraj was picked for Rs 1 crore in the second round of bidding and the onus will be on him to prove his worth for Mumbai Indians.
Hardik Pandya
The younger Pandya brother found recognition through his performances in the IPL and with the World Cup starting in May, this will be the perfect platform of Hardik to remind everyone of his talent once again.
Kieron Pollard
The big hitter from Trinidad has been a loyal member of the Mumbai Indians squad for quite some time and if he gets going in the middle orders, it will be a tough job for the bowlers to restrict Mumbai Indians to a low total.
Ben Cutting
Cutting had a great run in this year’s Big Bash League and along with Pollard, he forms the strong middle order of Mumbai Indians. Add his medium pace bowling to the mix and we can have a match-winner on our hands.
Krunal Pandya
While Hardik has found success in the Indian cricket team, Krunal is still struggling to make his place in the playing XI regularly and another good show in this year’s IPL will surely work wonders for the all-rounder.

The New Zealand international is the obvious choice for Mumbai Indians in the absence of Adam Milne and considering his performances in last year’s IPL, he will be a key asset for his team.
Jasprit Bumrah
The top-ranked T20I bowler in the world is well known for his death over bowling and subtle variations that has earned him a lot of wickets over the years. With the World Cup on the horizon, he will have to manage his workload but that will certainly not affect the quality of this fast bowler.
