Delhi kick off their campaign this season in an u-19 women tournament beginning on October 10 in Patiala. Delhi will face Haryana in their first game on October 12, but till Wednesday, DDCA had not even appointed a selection panel for the same. “Everything will be done in a day or two,” said Ragini Malhotra, who is with DDCA’s women working committee.

Though a camp for the U-19 women is going on at the Jesus and Mary College, they are no closer to deciding the players they want to send to Patiala.

Meanwhile, the new Ranji Trophy selection panel chaired by Chetan Chauhan and consisting Nikhil Chopra, Hari Gidwani and Manu Nayyar has announced the list of 44 probables. Delhi will play their first T20 Zonal match against Punjab on October 20, but till Wednesday DDCA has announced only the list of probables. The three ICL-returned players — Kunal Lal, Abhishek Sharma and Abhinav Bali — have also found a place in the list of probables.
