It was a dramatic day at the Sher-E-Bangla Stadium on Thursday and bowlers had the last laugh. First, Bangladesh cricket team’s left-arm spinners Abdur Razzak and Taijul Islam took four wickets each to dismiss Sri Lanka for 222 runs. For Sri Lanka cricket team, opener Kusal Mendis top-scored with 68 runs while Roshen Silva hit 56. In reply, Bangladesh were rocked by some great bowling from Suranga Lakmal who took two wickets. At stumps, Bangladesh were 56/4 with Liton Das (24) and Mehidy Hasan (5) at the crease. The first Test ended in a draw.
