WPL 2026, MI vs DC Highlights, Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals: Mumbai Indias bounced back to winning ways, defeating Delhi Capitals by 50 runs in their WPL 2026 fixture in Navi Mumbai, on Saturday. Chasing 196 runs, DC were bowled out for 145 in 19 overs. Nicola Carey put MI in total control, capitalising on Nat Sciver-Brunt's early breakthrough. Carey removed opener Shafali Verma (8) and Laura Wolvaardt (9). Meanwhile, Kamalini took a stunning one-handed catch, assisting Ismail in taking Jemimah Rodrigues' (1) wicket. Carey got her third wicket, removing Kapp for 10 off six balls. Delhi lost opener Lee (10) early, losing her wicket to Sciver-Brunt in the fourth over. Chinelle Henry (56) did try to stage a comeback, building partnerships with the likes of Niki Prasad (12) and Sneh Rana (11), but it proved to be too much.

Amelia Kerr's recent struggles with the bat continued as the MI opener faltered again, departing for a golden duck. Then Lee took another catch to dismiss Kamalini (16). After losing their openers, MI found the perfect partnership in Nat Sciver-Brunt and Harmanpreet Kaur as the pair launched a strong counter-attack. The partnership eventually ended with the dismissal of Sciver-Brunt, who departed for 70 off 46 balls. Then Harmanpreet built a short partnership with Nicola Carey (21), and also got her half-century. The MI skipper hit four fours as MI got 19 runs in the final over, and she remained unbeaten at 74* off 42 balls. Meanwhile, Nandani took two wickets on her WPL debut. Earlier, Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to bowl.
