Tom Kohler-Cadmore has long been regarded as one of England's most destructive top-order batters. After making his professional debut for Worcestershire, he announced himself in stunning fashion in 2016 with a blistering 127 off just 54 balls against Durham, which remains the highest individual T20 score in Worcestershire’s history. He moved to Yorkshire midway through 2017, where he established himself as a heavy-scoring multi-format staple and earned regular opportunities with the England Lions.
A high-profile move to Somerset ahead of the 2023 season further elevated his reputation in white-ball cricket. Kohler-Cadmore quickly became a central figure in Taunton, combining clean ball-striking at the top of the order with the ability to anchor an innings when required. In his debut season, he helped Somerset lift the 2023 Vitality Blast trophy, famously taking a spectacular diving catch in the final against Essex to seal the victory and scoring 489 runs in 17 games.
His power-hitting made him a sought-after commodity across the global franchise circuit. He featured in the Pakistan Super League, the ILT20, and The Hundred, while also enjoying dominance in the Abu Dhabi T10, where he won back-to-back titles with the Deccan Gladiators. As of 2026, he was the leading run-scorer in the league with 1689 runs in 60 games. The right-hander fulfilled a major career ambition in 2024 when he made his Indian Premier League debut for Rajasthan Royals, adding another elite competition to his resume.
Kohler-Cadmore enjoyed one of his best domestic campaigns in 2025, playing a starring role in Somerset's march back to Finals Day as the tournament’s second-highest run-scorer. He ended up with 557 runs in 17 games, helping his side to the title. His importance to the club across formats was rewarded with a contract extension through the end of the 2027 season. Although a hand injury sidelined him for part of the 2026 campaign, he returned to action for the closing stages of the Blast as Somerset reached the semi-finals.
