The team was led by Harmanpreet Kaur, with standout performances from Nat Sciver‑Brunt and Hayley Matthews throughout the tournament.

The following year, Royal Challengers Bengaluru lifted their first WPL trophy, beating Delhi Capitals by eight wickets in the final held in New Delhi. Smriti Mandhana captained the side, with both their batting and bowling units contributing significantly to their title-winning campaign.

In 2025, Mumbai Indians returned to the top, securing their second WPL championship with an eight-run victory over Delhi Capitals. It was another season where Meg Lanning's DC suffered a defeat in the final.

Over the three seasons, MI have emerged as the most successful team with two titles, while RCB has won one, reflecting the competitive and evolving nature of the league.
